With this alliance, Online Tech seeks to expand their global footprint by acquiring Neverfail’s cloud infrastructure services.
Online Tech have partnered with data security company Neverfail to gain access to the latter’s cloud infrastructure services. As per the terms of the deal, Online Tech will get Neverfail’s cloud infrastructure nodes, IaaS customers and channel partners whereas, Neverfail will focus on its data center and data protection software development.
According to Online Tech, enterprises focusing on cloud security and infrastructure are growing by numbers and the market potential for these services is huge globally. They say that in a bid to tap into this market, expanding their global presence was essential.
By partnering with Neverfail, Online Tech believe that they will not only gain access to the data security company’s cloud infrastructure services but will also expand themselves across different markets worldwide. They claim that as a part of their partnership plan, both companies will unveil a customer portal that will help in cost containment and performance management across all cloud capabilities.
Neverfail say that they felt the need to explore the sale of their cloud infrastructure services to decide whether the market has the potential for software business or cloud business. By partnering with Online Tech, Neverfail believe that they could focus more on the software offerings in their portfolio.
Speaking about the resources that will be available to Online Tech, Neverfail claim that the former can access Neverfail Engine, a security product that protects mission-critical Windows apps, Neverfail HybriStor, a software-defined secondary platform with an object storage gateway for AWS and Neverfail Workspaces, a single-pane virtual desktop infrastructure to manage all kinds of cloud environments.
Brian Hierholzer, CEO of Neverfail believes that their investment with Online Tech will bear fruit and that customers will find their products and services apt for all cloud environments. It will be interesting to see how Neverfail and Online Tech make the most of this alliance, following the alliance between ThreatStack and RedCanary in the cloud infrastructure market.
